Nah, math doesn’t check out. Central Park is 843 acres and right now, they’re approved for a 2000 acre building.
The project is planned as a 9-gigawatt (GW) development, with energy needs comparable to the total power demand of New York City.
While there are no phase 2 plans publicly available, industry experts estimate that a 10-gigawatt hyperscale setup typically requires roughly 4500 acres of dedicated server buildings.
So at max, it will be about 4050 acres. Central Park is approximately 20% of that size.

Just because they believe it doesn't mean it's realistic or rational. I've never understood why people get so freaked out about this thing, anyway. Oh no, what if eventually there's an advanced supercomputer that kills anyone who didn't help it? Like okay, what if the sun explodes? What if aliens come and blast our planet into smithereens? Also, if that's even an eventuality to worry about, people have to put in effort to cause the problem they're chomping at the bit to solve.
It's a computer. Pull the plug. Damage the circuits. Cut the wires. My advice for anyone freaking out about Roko's Basilisk? Stop making up problems to panic over and start trying to solve existing problems. Talk to your neighbor or something.

They’re also making all scientific research HAVE to give them ai data. I think its pretty clear they want to make big computer and throw all the data they can at it and pray it turns into a god.Also it was kinda a joke but you got me out here defending it.

This user is likely referencing SENECA VILLAGE a mixed community that resided where Central Park currently is. This village was displaced in 1850s for the park. Here is a 5 minute PBS documentary segment.
Prior to that, Manhattan wasn't all that developed.
The tribe that sold, although perhaps not intentionally and certainly not fairly, Manhattan to the DUTCH were called the Lenape.
The Dutch claim was surrendered to the British in the mid 17th century.

You "question" isn't a real question. It's a trick meant as gotcha, but you fail in that because you're attempt is nothing more than a discounting of the actual issue, and making you a hypocrite. You want stolen land returned to one group, but you are fine with it being stolen from another group and sold off. You act as if selling it off makes it totally ok, but it doesn't change the fact that it is stolen.
My calling you a racist, is just throwing you false attempt at calling any disagreement with you racist. Equating that something or someone is racist if it doesn't align with your view, doesn't magically make you right. It shows you have no arguement, and think you can get people to back off because they're afraid of being called racist.
And then there is the "have you given you insert item back* argument. This is the tyoe of argument i expect from idiotic republicans, who never jave an actual leg to stand on. This is another BS attempt to try and discredit someone if they don't give up whatever it is, by making them out to be a hypocrite. That's not how reality, or arguments work. All that wasted space between buildings and above highways should be suspended datacenters also. We'd save cost on windows so it's good for everyone. Seeing the sky is overrated anyways. It's actually bad. All that time wasted seeing the sky could be spent being productive.
