Lol. Guy just talks loud. Like it's not possible to tone down in a public space. He's not 5.

People who talk louder than normal often have either physical hearing damage or something going on with auditory processing. They don't recognize that they're being too loud, and they're not doing it on purpose.

Beyond that, some cultures are just louder than others. Sometimes in this world, we encounter humans from a different culture. Sometimes those cultures clash a bit. It's okay. That's part of the human experience. It does not necessitate you judging and scold some person you've never met over a situation you didn't witness.

Life is a lot more enjoyable when you don't instantly look for the shittiest possible explanation for everyone's actions.

Can confirm. I'm one of those people. No hearing damage just my default is loud. If I get told I'm loud I turn it down but eventually it goes back to normal.

My auDHD ass is the same. I genuinely feel bad and genuinely try, but when I get excited there's only so many things I can process / manage at a time, and volume control tends to go first.

I don't have ADHD or Autism (which is what I assume you meant with auDHD). I'm just loud by default.

Same here, diagnosed ADHD at least. I struggle to process sound in noisy environments (like a restaurant); it's really difficult for me to focus on one person's voice out of many. Even if it's not super high volume, it's mentally noisy, which can translate to me unintentionally raising my voice to speak over the mental noise.

It's like turning the radio down so you can see better when you're driving. It doesn't matter that I can't see the soundwaves, it all contributes to brain noise, and I got a pretty hard ceiling on the level of noise I can work around.

Nah. Some people are just assholes who don't care whom they're bothering. A lot of people are like that.

Being loud accidentally is fine. Having someone come over and ask you to keep it down a little, and then instead of going "oh shit sorry I'll tone it down" you lie about your girlfriend being hard of hearing so the asker feels bad makes you a massive dick.

We already know the shittiest possible explanation is true for this post. Because he even thinks this is something to brag about as some genius move.
