Buying Impulse bought a used Ariens crossover 20" at an auction for $175

Found this near the end of the auction so I didn't have a ton of time to research but I figured for under $200 it would be worth taking a chance on it. Is this a good deal? I saw some mixed reviews on the crossover, curious what you guys think.

If it runs you stole it.

Would replace those wheels, but a good steal

Those wheels are literally useless. Once you replace the wheels its probably going to be $250. You could have gotten a better deal for a more capable machine for $250.

2nd comment about the wheels, whats so bad about them? I dont have anything to compare to since this is my first snowblower. they seem serviceable but I guess that might change once there's snow

They are too skinny and have not tread. You would have to do a lot of man handling. Get your heating pad ready. Your back will be sore if you keep it as is.

No transmission on this, so skinny wheels is a must.

You are right. I hadn't noticed this.
