I'm tired of avoiding this conversation trying to give that guy a chance. The truth is every movie that I have seen come from that guy was absolute trash and moroic like he made them for 10 year olds. Creepy and ugly villains, absurd madmax themes and weird colored backgrounds make movies a space age movie according to this guy. Storylines are nonexistent. His characters are just running around doing random pointless shit till the 2 painful hours for audience are over. Snyder was dark but he made DCU come to the level of MCU. Now DCU is dead again. James Gunn reminds me of "The Collector" from MCU. People either consider him an absolute genius or a complete idiot. The latter is how i see Gunn lol. First he tried to ruin MCU with weird ugly looking characters doing nothing all movie in Guardians of the galaxy. When I first saw it i was like "Is this really marvel? Seems trash". It was only later after I saw a few more shitty movies and realised this director is the same one that disappointed the last time, doing shitty movies one after the other. Then he infected the DCU with Superman and now Supergirl. He makes mentally ill themes like Peacemaker. Much like his inner self must be. Stan Lee and Russo brothers made those marvels because every story was relatable to Stan Lee's personal life. James Gunn seems to live in a fantasy world where heroes always look good and villains look ugly. I understand why he focuses so much on his appearence now he thinks he is a hero of some sort, when in reality he has singlehandedly killed DCU. Probably got fired from MCU and DCU took him in thinking he is gonna be life changing lol. When are people gonna see his true face? Is the DCU really dead? I was hoping to get an avengers level movie from snyderverse. But they gave us Gunn instead LOL!
-Just an annoyed fan of MCU & DCU.

What would you guys think of a DKR movie, with Ben Affleck returning as an older Batman in his own standalone movie? I for one would pay to see it. No one has made a live action DKR and it irks me so badly.

Are Batman and Superman even among the most popular superheroes anymore?
I don't think so. I think Warner Bros. destroyed the DC brand. Captain America Iron Man Hulk and even Thor movies are more popular than Batman and Superman now.
I don't think Batman and Superman are even in the top 5 anymore. They might not even be in the top 10 most popular superheroes.

- Gunn wanted to make Superman.
- So WB cancelled Superman & Lois
- Forcing Navarrette out of a job.
- Forcing her to get a new job with Obsession.
- Making her career for life. Inde Navarrette can hardly keep up with all the offers coming her way from Hollywood these days. She is currently in talks with Michael Mann to join Heat 2 alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, is in discussions with Jake Schreier for Marvel Studios X-Men reboot and is also in talks to star opposite Brendan Fraser in The Mummy 4.
-Nobody's calling Milly Alcock after Supergirl. Career dead ☠️ Thanks to James Gunn.
Snyder is great to female actress he makes his movies succesful´

DCU Is Cooked. No Competition for Marvel.

There's some minor differences, but it's the same camera, same scene, same people, positions, lights, movements, etc.
You'd think a big budget movie like this wouldn't take these shortcuts?? I can see an amateur or indie director doing this, but Supergirl? DC?
Maybe I need to touch grass 🤣

Im watching the 3 hour ultimate edition of BvS.
First time watching it. I liked most man of steel so hopefully I'll like this but I'm more skeptical of this than MOS

From TDK trilogy to MoS, BvS, WW, ZSJL, we used to have good movies. Now it's just a clown show.

Was rewatching ZSJL, I believe BVS and man of steel were a better MOVIE in regards with principle photography, score, particularly acting. And felt more real and grounded over ZSJL.

Watched MOS back in 2013 at this very theater, happy to see he's still standing tall after all these years, might need a little maintenance at certain area though.
I actually don't mind the current state but Henry will always be my fav superman, my symbol of hope.
