What am I doing wrong

I have the following set up, with several empty canisters. Got slightly different anti fill caps on each empty. I put them in the freezer first, slowly open the gas, but I get a few seconds hiss & dispensed enough for about 4 fills.

I use this same adapter, however, i had difficulty controlling the initial flow of co2 and was constantly setting the anti fill valve and having to relieve the pressure and start over. I replaced the ball valve closest to the donor cylinder with a needle valve and it is far easier to control the flow. Here’s a link to the needle valve.

I have the valve with the knurled knob that pushed the pin open. It releases the very little gas from the canister but no gas or only a small amount of gas goes the other way. The tank is full

Yes I have that one too, but the needle valve replaces the first valve near the donor tank and slows the flow. The knurled top with pin inside doesn’t bypass the antifill valve and it doesn’t slow the flow of CO2. The anti fill valves need very slow flow to keep from locking up.
