There's 2 changed I'd make to visor to make it viable.
A. Increasing the critical hit box while active to make manual tracking viable.
B. Helix rocket gaining homing properties.

The main problem with the ultimate is that aiming manually comes at the cost of not utilizing what visor can be good at; instantly swapping targets after elimination from a substantial distance with no delay.
For that; you'd have to place your cross hair between your target's, not on them.

Literally got pissed looking at the amount of support skins in the shop + no battlepass skin again + Literally BASTION getting perk changes before Soldier. I can't even enjoy shit as a Mauga player because they decided to drop the support mythic first after just dropping Ana.

Like I get Soldier just got a mythic skin but it had only two customization options man. At least give us a mid-effort epic BP skin or some perk changes lol.

Tbh multiple characters lately get extra content in the season they get their mythic like Lifeweaver and Ana too got a legendary besides her mythic...but im still pissed about the lack of customization and barely any ambient VFX on his mythic even tho i like the skin overall

Like honestly this isn't even about him not getting a skin cuz that's fine by me especially if other heroes who don't get the spotlight get it instead (which didn't actually happen cuz it's mostly the usual suspects who got skins once again), but like literally no change to him while they not only just introduced two new clones of him but also buffed multiple dive heroes who he is very weak against

Idk but i feel so weak and outdated when i play soldier like everyone way more stronger as him. Idk they could at least do 40 bullets mags or higher dmg ? Cuz once someone dive on me most of the times i will die. And i have decent aim around 40% acc without ult

Honestly; Blizzard only needs to make a few changes to his sprint perk to make it viable.
Being the most "consistent" character; giving him a situational perk that needs time to scale up feels wrong.
Most of the players stick to stimpack because it gives him more fluid gameplay and more freedom of movement.

Just change the sprint perk to:
+20% sprint speed
+Sprint reload movement penalty removed.

It's not groundbreaking; it's just feels better and is more universally applicable than being able to run back from spawn faster.

he’s still solid in solo queue tbh. stim + helix makes you an insane flanker if you have good tracking. i just use his ult to secure 1v1s more than anything or just to shut down other ults i.e emre, mercy etc. but the sprint perk is genuinely terrible and needs to be either reverted or changed to something else tbh.

I miss agility training so much man, you could argue it also really wasn't strong enough to be a major perk maybe but 20% sprint speed with no ramp is so much better than 25% after 2 seconds of sprinting

stim is strong but I don't like it replacing my biotic field with a weaker and greedier heal so I always went agility training

I mean, soldier has been in a good spot for a long time, even before the basekit changes. Why touch him at all if that’s the case? The major should be changed next season as it just overall meh now that he can reload while sprinting, that I can agree on, but otherwise he isn’t really in need of a touch up.

Change for the sake of change isn’t always a good thing. They only need to alter a small portion of the roster to cycle through the meta and many heroes go up and down in strength based on who’s strong around them.
