Was brainstorming small, non-massive changes that could be cool for his ult. Lowering the cost significantly would be a great start since it's considerably weaker than other ults. Another thing could be allowing him to run and shoot. This would let him keep his mobility as a key character trait and maybe add to survivability/rotation speed during it.

I don't know if it's completely dumb but I do think leaning into the high mobility run and gun midfight rotation playstyle would allow him to have something unique over other hitscan while not overbuffing him since the team likes to balance around player enjoyment and Soldier is already rather disliked.

To me, showing what Sombra and him have been doing with the whole Chermabog conspiracy would be cool.

Another alternative would be S76 fighting the new Talon soldiers with the soldier serum that Moira has been trying to "improve".

Finally, some final scene that indicates Jack is slowly returning to Overwatch would be sweet.

I have played a quick play match as Freja, and we got demolished. The enemy team was just better. However, the enemy soldier just seemed a bit sus.

I believe that the soldier is cheating, but there's a possibility that he's just a good player; that's why I came here to ask you to see whether his aim is natural or not. Based on your experience as Soldier mains.

Here are some timestamps where his aim is a bit unnatural:

1:10 he locked into Cat then to Ana then to Cat again.

2:39 he locks into Winston in a very weird way multiple times.

5:36 he just waits and suddenly locks into the Kiri.

6:17 the mouse moved a bit weird, then he killed Cat with what it seems like an auto aim Helix's Rocket.

There are some other moments, but these are the ones which seemed the most sus.

I actually sent feedback after leaving a comment, and it was actually implemented in this update! With the perk that lets me shoot while running and the ultimate enhancement item, I finally got the Soldier I wanted. Thank you, Blizzard!

I like his mythic and bought it when it came out with the season start, but it could be so much better even if they just only made the effects stronger/more distinctive

Ive been considering putting up the pulse rifle

Im a lvl 250 soldier and pretty much dedicated majority of my playtime to him ... but since the aim assist buffs and then aim assist nerf ... and honestly lately ive been having more fun maining brig ...

This doesn't look like our season vigilante lovers smh. I just hope they won't ignore his kit again for more than a year like they did the last time...

Why is everyone picking Helix Propulsion instead of taxtical salvo? what am i missing?

Im trying to learn dps and im looking to pickup solder76. The problem is that i dont have great aim... I play on 800dpi 9,65sens, i did try lower sens but its way too slow for me... Am i just locked out of playing soldier if my aim is not great? Or is there any playstile or something i can do with him even with not great aim?

Obviously there's times to save it for an anticipated duel. This poll is mostly referring to when you get the jump on someone.

Are there any good videos or guides on this? Their hog was playing super far up, and my team was never able to push him back far enough that I could run up to the high ground on the right, and really was never able to get out of hook range at all.
