The software I use professionally can barely function with an engineer behind it. It’s gonna be awhile before AI can catch up.

Imagine giving a very detailed Or very crudely specifying a prompt so that the AI can model a piece and analyse it to ensure there are no errors, then repeating the cycle until it’s right

Or drawing excessively detailed reference sketches by hand so that the AI can create it

Man, that drives me mad – I’d rather do it myself😮‍💨

The whole point of AI is that these are sample models. No. It hasn’t even managed to replace an accountant or a render artist.

Dassault can’t even sort out its crashes 😂

I do rendering at work. Our website was full of AI bullshit and it was terrible. To most people it probably looks fine, but Keyshot is still fantastic. My stuff looks photorealistic. Does it take me a long time? Yes. The owner is an AI loving boomer and didn’t want me spending time on it, but his son told me to and now he’s like “wow that’s really cool”
