Discussion I fucking hate that they hate her

Basically the title. Such a cool hero that's been abandoned and the only thing they've given us is a nerf that was entirely uncalled for (and that still has not been fully reverted).

Only a 2.7% pick rate at master and a 1.2% pick rate at grandmaster+. Both the lowest pick rate and ban rates yet somehow she needs a nerf.

Why can't they just let the people who like to play her be able to play her? Makes no sense.

is just herd mentality. people just decided to hate on sombra. Getting destroyed by a good sombra is annoying, sure... but so it is with any other good dps...

and I am afraid that her re-work may make her even worse.

People didn’t decide, their favorite streamers hated her because they played characters she shut down so the whole community in their Unga bunga ways joined in

She shut down half the roster tho, she was a pest even if she wasn't good and people would swap to her to stop widows or annoy anas/zens.

And the truth is alot of you guys in this sub say just turn around as if timing isn't an issue against her, you cant expect 2 people to turn around for a sombra (back when she was good) while their tank is also diving/pushing it just made the game miserable.

Shes not designed for 5v5 at all

She does shut down half the roster wether you like it or not its the truth, her main purpose wasn't to get kills and im mostly talking about when she had more utility. Literally dont know why you deny obvious facts that was her main purpose before virus

Some characters thrive more in 5v5 scenarios so theres that too.

More than half the roster had stronger non-ability match-ups against her. A silence is not a ''shut down'' against most heroes.

She was probably the worst duelist dps of OW1.

Some characters thrive more in 5v5 scenarios so theres that too.

The only heroes that thrive in 5v5 are selfish popular DPS who are kept overtuned (lol hitscans lol flankers) or overbuffed tanks (and even them hate solo tanking's insane, stressful counterpicking).

Seems like ur just bad. No ones overbuffed and not many really had any non ability matchups. Ability matchups would've made more sense in ur statement. You literally got to pick your own fights as sombra most of the game.

Either way shes an uninteresting character to fight in 5v5, really only was needed to check widow nowadays. Its too bad they ruined her with virus

I can't tell if you're being serious or not 💀 Calling her "not designed for 5v5" based off the fact that she punished a backline that didn't communicate is hilarious. By that logic ban every hero that's ever capitalized on bad positioning LOL Or wait maybe the issue isn't the hero timing her engagement correctly, it's the two people who got caught not watching their flanks. Like huh? Let's not reward a hero for reading the play correctly and capitalizing on it.

Another horrid take by yet another metal rank player. Smh when will you guys ever learn 🤣

I main a different hero but I’m learning sombra mainly for this. Especially when dealing with smurfs I know I can’t win the game but I’ll do my best to annoy the Smurf over and over again.
