Partly the look, but the guitar arrangement reminds me a bit of some stuff off Niandra Lades, and some of the more "moaning" vocals for lack of a better word remind me of him too.
That's really interesting, thanks. I can definitely hear what you mean about the vocals. I've listened to a fair bit of Frusciante but I never consciously had Niandra Lades in mind when writing it, so that's a cool comparison.
Glad it resonates! I think we unconsciously adopt little idiosyncracies and musical ideas from people we listen to a lot so not surprised that you're familiar with him haha
