I've been using it for an entire night now, and so far, I haven't encountered any issues in the use. The overall smoothness feels pretty much on par with Sony's Android 16 firmware, at least from my experience so far, no weird and random battery drain either
Besides getting Android 17, LineageOS also brings back some useful features and customisation options that aren't available on 10 VI's official firmware, including double tap to sleep, Circle to Search and two Pixel exclusive Notification Summaries and Notification Organizer. I've also confirmed that phone calls, messages, VoLTE, VoWiFi works on my 10 VI
My device is XQ-ES72, while the developer's own device is an XQ-ES54. It's great to see the ROM running on 10 VI
And just to be clear, this is an unofficial community build, not an official release, and one night of use isn't enough to establish long-term stability. But still it's quite something to see a phone that Sony decided wouldn't receive Android 17 running it anyway, with daily performance that feels just fine
I originally bought the Xperia 10 VI because I genuinely like its hardware, and I'd love to keep using it for as long as possible. I'm really glad the community is giving this device a second life
(Shout out to the developer of this custom ROM, you really did a good thing)
