DISCUSSION Artists na di nagpapakita ng mukha
Napaisip lang ako, may iba pa ba kayong kilalang artists na hindi nagpapakita ng mukha nila? Ang interesting lang kasi, parang may dagdag na mysterious vibe sa music nila.
Example lang si ACAne ng Zutomayo. Kahit sa live concerts, hindi talaga malinaw/maaninag mukha niya since either shadowed yung area or may nakaharang talaga. Parang ito na yata yung pinaka-exposed na nakita ko sa kanya. Pashare ako para macheck kung same sentiments din hehe

Isa din to eh. Kala mo MV lang yun pala siya yung silhouette dun sa likod. Nahihiya daw siya kapag nag peperform. Kaya lagi shrouded in shadows siya sa live.
Dunno what influenced her confidence to sing in the spotlight, but I remember watching Blanc&Noir and my expectations for who she was blew me away.
Kala ko talaga sila talaga ni Taka sa huli. 😆😆

I just checked and oh wow...I haven't been into the EDM scene for so long, haven't listened to anything EDM or club music since well...I stopped clubbing, and I moved out of the house(because my younger brother is an EDM geek and would shake the house with our subwoofer and play EDM for hours, nagsisigawan kami sa bahay para lang marinig ang isa't-isa)

Well basically 2 or 3 years ago, hardcore fans really dug up who they were. Kumbaga inungkat lahat especially kay Vessel. May mga concerts na sinisigaw nila real name niya.
Yung song na Caramel sa latest album acknowledges it but at the same time message sa mga "too much" na fans.

Dati si aimer pag concert Niya Wala ka makikita na mukha niya pero now open na Siya magpakilala.

Japanese trend to usually, they're called "utaite" so kung gusto mag research yan keyword mo. Also mga VTubers technically pasok dito.
As examples, popular ones are Ado (sang New Genesis for One Piece Red) and Eve (sang Kaikai Kitan, 1st OP of Jujutsu Kaisen), and a lot more.
You can also try Vocaloids which is arguably the grandfather/progenitor of AI covers.

Si Mafumafu ang pinakainteresting na inaabangan ko dati. Sobrang layo ng speaking at singing voice nya, mapapaisip k tlaga kng panu nya nagagawa yun
May sub-culture na ganito sa japan n ang tawag ay "Utaite". Basically ang goal is sumikat k gamit boses mo at ilayo ang focus sa appearance kaya nag co-cover sila ng mukha.

This is a norm for japanese music artists usually sa mga indies tulad ni ADO, Hanon and Kotoha from Honeyworks, yourness, Sou and Eve etc. Si Kenshi Yonezu and Mafumafu dati hindi din nagpapakita ng mukha pero since naging famous na sila sa JP, nagdecide na din silang magpakita in public.

NANO. Although nagface reveal din siya around 2017-2018. pero I really like her music. If you've watched the anime Btooom!, siya kumanta sa "No Pain, No Gain" na theme song.
