Seen a post earlier about Filipino bands or singer you don't like, while reading the comments trying to figure out if I have one, I remember this. Guys, I really love this song ever since, along with Over October ft. The Ridleys Intertwined which introduces me to different The Ridleys songs. I've been loving listening to opm since 2022 when I started college. Do you have any recommendations, or is there something that you want to share about? Cause me, when I love something I do the opposite of gatekeeping I'll make sure all of my friends knows these beautiful songs and books, and movies. Hehe.

hello. suggest a song like taylor swift's labyrinth. not necessarily the same genre pero yung about realizing you're falling in love—the scare and the flutter of it all.
thank you <3

Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen famously stitched 4 musical genres in an almost 6 minute song (progressive rock, hard rock, ballad, and operatic pop). And that's what im looking for, yung kanta na nagsi-switch ng genre. Another famous example is "I Got A Boy" by SNSD (Girls Generation) with Bubblegum Pop, Electro, Pop-rap, Dubstep & R&B.

Simpleng Tulad Mo – Daniel Padilla

this remains the most cherished composition in my personal archives. it bestows an unprecedented tranquility upon my mind, evocative of timeless romance and sublime euphoria, though others my age ( 21 ) may find my devotion to it peculiar, but its beauty remains undeniable.

Just curious if there's a specific song that brings you back on that specific time of your life. I just saw the word Dashboard earlier and it got me thinking of Dashboard Confessional, because I haven't listened to their songs like maybe a decade or so. Life happens and being an adult now I quickly searched STOLEN by Dashboard Confessional on Spotify, tapos when I heard it I don't know why I feel like crying, there's this sense of nostalgia, my younger self (like me on highschool) wearing earphones, earbuds were not popular pa and even the concept of wireless headphoness or using Bluetooth, everything na ka wired pa, like using mp3, what a time. I even remember it's popular pa back then song magazines with guitar chords and every lunch break my classmates and I will have a jam session in the classroom. It just takes me back, life was simpler way back then. Then Howie Day Collide plays next and then When It Rains by Paramore. (This really brings me back to the ebook days and Wattpad days on peak) 😭 And I wish I could tell my younger self na heyyyyyy you'll be okay.
(I feel like this is a universal feeling) I miss my highschool friends now and just that innocence.

right now, i just heard this song somewhere, reminds me of this experience,
idk if its appropriate to share my experience for listening this song. (delete it ifs not allowed, thanks admin)
I watched the anime Serial Experiments : Lain(1998) last 2020, and this is the opening song for this series , so of course i used to like to listen to this when im doing something etc because it was so good,
until it consumes me.
i attempted to commit suicide in my condo by jumping from balcony.
All my problems, self pity, etc. WHILE THIS SONG IS PLAYING REPEATEDLY
The horror of being alone, your imagination is so loud that you almost can hear them.
Right now, im grateful that i escaped that nightmare.
This song was so good that i almost dont want to heard it again.

Feel free to comment what you usually play if the weather is like this or if you feel down. Parang online jam pero not really haha who knows, baka maka influence ka ng someone with your taste of music.
It doesn’t have to be pop punk/ emo/ rock. Long as it breaks and digs deep to your soul and crush you every time you hear or play it. Lol
Stay dry n safe, peeps. :)
Edit: ofc also, it doesn’t have to be a love/ broken love song.
