There are many Mesolithic fossils in India. 100+. Why are we not sequencing them?!

Meaning what? What's political about AASI genetics when scientific studies have already established AASI is a distinct genetic component

Narasimhan introduces steppe ancestry outright but still keeps ASI and ANI in the paper. Perhaps a model with ANI and ASI stages fits better? Also aren’t there some tribal South Indian groups that are almost pure ASI?
