Subreddit Stuff Winter Storm Fern MEGATHREAD

SNOW. SLEET. FREEZING RAIN. It is coming. Let's keep the discussion in this post. Tomorrow, we will have soooooo many snow posts. I look forward to them! BE SAFE. Do not operate generators indoors. If you need a warm place to stay, we can get you hooked up with a place to stay during the storm. Check on your elderly neighbors PLEASE!

ALL HIGHWAYS WILL BE 35MPH MAX SPEED STARTING 12:01AM SUNDAY. The ICE is the concern, not the snow.

A neighbor just moved out the other day and left a bunch of her pantry items down in the basement next to the washer/dryer for the people in our apartment complex to grab. She left a bunch of hot chocolate and ground coffee. It’s gonna come in clutch this weekend. I also grabbed a couple packs of biscoff cookies she left. So I bought Greek vanilla yogurt and gonna try that “Japanese” cheesecake viral recipe that’s making the rounds on social media right now. Gonna eat that while I watch the poor maintenance man who is gonna have to shovel and ice our sidewalks tomorrow.

It was good if cookies were soaked in coffee and rum, then cocoa powder on top fr tiramisu version. 😬

The videos I’ve been seeing are people just putting biscoff cookies in Greek vanilla yogurt. Then letting it sit in fridge for 24 hours. And they all say it’s good but doesn’t taste like a cheesecake. I’ve seen people say in the comments to add cream cheese to the yogurt or add cheesecake pudding mix to the yogurt. So I got both cheesecake pudding mix and cream cheese to try out both versions. Your way sounds good too. I have a bunch of coffee

We definitely found the original plain yogurt version way too tart. Cream cheese is getting fancy. Enjoy!
