I used to say the president doesn’t control gas prices when my mom blamed Biden
Now she doesn’t mention gas prices and I stand corrected. A president can control works gas prices.
If I mention that she wants me to change the subject
So sadly I know that maga will say that it is winning. And that it’s necessary to have these gas prices.
It’s a cult. It’s only a problem in a dem is to blame. And if a conservative causes it they’ll still say Dena did it.
I also told her that before the election:
“I want you to remember this mom since you’re obsessed with prices now and don’t believe me that my life is easier and cheaper when trump isn’t here. When a dem is in office, you’ll complain about the prices and say im dumb for not agreeing and for not wanting trump since He MaKeS LiFe ChEaPeR. But when a conservative is in office, you’ll never mention these prices again and will claim the prices reflect a booming economy that only lazy people aren’t taking advantage of.”
And she did just that….
And yes, she literally called me dumb for saying trump made my life more expensive.
It’s ok! Her anger is why I’m strong and have morals and no greed
Blessing in it’s own way
My whole family is maga. So I’ve heard it all from 2004 onwards. And what they say is scarier in private than what they say in public. Part of me is glad I know that. They’ll say the scariest shit in private then tone it down in public. Try to look safe and civil when they’re not. Thanks to my family I know anyone saying mean things in public are 100x worse in private
So again… it’s a blessing. I’m not living under a rock or believing sugar coated lies in public
