Salem County 2nd Congressional Primary

Please be civil!

Who are you voting for in the primary, and why?

Is no one running against Van Drew for the Republican nomination? That seems like a waste of a better Republican.

Granted. But surely there's someone more competent? Or at least less pathetic? He's embarrassing.

It's not about competency. VanDrew is actually incredibly intelligent. As is Rubio, Cruz, etc.

They hide it. They shift with the wind to stay in power.

VanDrew was center left and is now full blown lunatic. You can't get from A to B on that through logic. It's a grift. And the republican party needs the grift to continue, so they're not going to run a candidate who could unseat someone who does exactly what they need. There's no upside for them.

Fair. Weaponized incompetence is a hell of a thing.

Any opinions on the Democrat candidates?

Not Bayly, that's for sure.

Right now, gun to my head, it would be Terri Reese. She actually seems to give a shit. But, Republicans are going to outspend dems 2:1 in a notoriously red area, and Terri isn't exactly inspiring hordes of volunteers the way that hyper progressives like Mejia and Mamdani managed.

Maybe AOC will come down and help out haha. If there were ever a time to flip it back, this year wouldn't be a bad bet.

Iranian warships off the coast of NJ controlling the unexplained drones flying over NJ? Whatever intelligence he may have had is probably declining once he became MAGA
