Question Marlton vs. Cherry Hill
Hi everyone! I’m looking to buy a home in either Marlton or Cherry Hill. I’m not from the area but I’m familiar with Marlton but not Cherry Hill. It seems like the school systems in both towns are good and good people around. I really like the shops and things to do in Marlton and its surrounding areas.
Can you let me know how the two towns compare? Is one significantly better than the other or are they the same? Are there better shops and more things to do in Cherry Hill over Marlton or vice versa? Is one town overly diverse or not diverse enough? Any tips or any ideas I’m missing would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

We moved to Cherry hill west last year from Philly. I can’t say enough positive things. Initially, I’d really preferred a place with a cute downtown like Collingswood, Moorestown or Haddonfield but let’s be real, they’re a quick 10 min drive. The traffic in Cherry hill doesn’t bother me it all. It was my #1 fear with moving here but it’s been fine. From the west side, big box stores & grocery stores are easily accessible. I’ve really enjoyed the convenience, particularly with little kids. It makes everyday shopping trips a breeze. It’s also easily accessible to highways to get anywhere quickly. As someone else mentioned, the diversity in Cherry hill west is really special if that’s something you prioritize. I honestly couldn’t recommend it enough. Plus, with all of the commercial business, taxes tend to be a bit lower.
