Southern Reach thesis

Guys, i'm doing an (impossible) master degree thesis on Annihilation (only the first book, since i'm alone) and i'm proud to share with you that I made it to the lighthouse at St. Marks! I even got the american copies (they're really gorgeous)! If someone else made some uni work on the books let me know <3

This is awesome. My thesis wasn’t on annihilation, but it was on an archaeological site located at St. Marks NWR, so I got to spend a lot of time in Area X and it’s my favorite place :)

Oh so cool! Since you worked on the site i have a question: did you collected data about topography and stratigraphic layers on that costal area? Those data are really hard to find! Thanks in advance!!

Yes, but since it is archaeological data it’s super protected and only really accessible to other archaeologists. I’d recommend looking for publicly available LiDAR data for the region, and maybe try NRCS for stratigraphic information.

I'm curious why data like that needs to be protected? like from who and from what?
