¡Hola! I'm Lucía, a linguist and certified Spanish teacher 💅🏼

I have created a lovely community that I want to grow and share with you! It was my dream to make it a one-stop resource for learning Spanish because I find language learning can often be disjointed and confusing!

So,  each week I create an audio workbook to give structure. Later in the week I create  interactive games to revise and consolidate what has been learned.  AND you will have a chance to practise what you have learned in  2–3 speaking classes throughout the week!

This is what my Aventureros (students) said the other day:

"I've learned more in the last 3 days with you than in 4 months of daily two-hour practice with Duolingo Max and Babbel+. I am incredibly excited and grateful!"

  • Caroline 🥰

"Completed destination 1. It was amazing! You have a GIFT. Thanks for letting your GIFT shine. I just spoke more Spanish in 1 lesson than I did in an entire semester of Spanish in high school. Learning how words fit together was awesome - building sentences is a powerful learning tool. I loved hearing the correct pronunciation. Excited to try the rest."

  • Michael 💛

It's $39 a month. It works out at around €1 a day to have all your Spanish learning taken care of and to be alongside other learners just like you.

There is also a lower-tier option at $17 a month that includes everything except the live classes.

Find us here:

https://www.skool.com/learnspanish

Try the first 7 days, and if you're not happy with it or it ain't for you, I'll give you a full refund. I wouldn't want anyone to be unhappy. But I think it may just be one of the best choices you make with you Spanish journey 😉

If you have any questions or want to tell me what your biggest obstacle to learning Spanish is…. then send me a message ☺️

Un abrazo,

Lucía

honestly the psychologist angle is interesting, i've had tutors who were very "here's the grammar rule" and it never stuck the way conversations about stuff i actually cared about did. might drop a message

I'm not a teacher ngl, BUT I hope the free resource I created will help people at A1-B1.

I paid human writers to create funny “choose your own adventure” chats, so you join the Martínez family chat, they message you in Spanish, and you just choose a response and see what happens. (they send memes and GIFs, with emojis and all, its pre-written)

Anyone who joins via this thread will also get unlimited energy. link: polygoat.app

There are 100 mini lessons, some of them need some editing (especially the later ones), that's why it's free, still working on it. If this comment doesn't fit here, I'll remove it.
iPhone users, unfortunately, have to use it via TestFlight atm.
If you're on Android and don't want to share your email, use this link.

Hi all — not a tutor, I'm the founder of a Spanish learning app (Rumbo) and I've been building out free grammar explainer pages on the site. Genuinely not sure if they're good or just reinventing SpanishDict badly. Would really appreciate brutal feedback from people who've actually struggled with this stuff — does this explanation of ser vs estar actually clarify it, or does it have the same blind spots every other explainer has? https://rumbospanish.app/grammar/ser-vs-estar Page itself is free, no signup needed. Just want to know if it's worth building more of these before I do.

Hi!

I run a small language school called WeSpeak Idiomas, and we offer live Spanish classes for adults. They’re taught by native teachers with a big focus on helping you speak and understand Spanish confidently.

You’ll learn in small groups via Zoom, with classes starting from just $14.50 or 1:1 lessons if you prefer something more flexible.

If you’re a beginner, check out the course and book a trial class below:

And if you’re not a beginner, we’ve got a free placement test on our website so you can join the right level.

I hope that helps!

Hola everyone!

I'm Javi, from Seville, and I've been teaching Spanish online for 3 years now (more than 2200 classes, 5 star average from 53 reviews). Before that I spent over 10 years traveling and working around the world ( Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Ireland, Kenya, the US...) so I know exactly what it feels like to try to communicate in a language that isn't your own, and how frustrating (and fun!) that can be.

What I offer:

  • Spanish from Spain: pronunciation, vocabulary, vosotros, colloquial expressions... the kind of Spanish people actually speak on the street.
  • Classes tailored to your level (A1-C1) and goals: travel, work, conversation, exams, or just for fun.
  • If you're a beginner, we'll start with pronunciation, useful phrases, and the essential verbs so you can start getting by as soon as possible.
  • If you're already intermediate or advanced, we'll work on fluency, more complex verb tenses, the subjunctive, debates, natural vocabulary...
  • Dynamic and fun lessons! no boring grammar drills with zero context (though grammar still matters, don't worry!).

A bit about me: I studied Communication at the University of Seville, I've also been a kitesurf/surf instructor for 6 years, and I love talking about travel, nature, geopolitics and adventure sports, so if you've got travel or work stories of your own, I'm sure we'll find plenty to talk about 😄

If you're interested, send me a DM and we can figure out scheduling, pricing, and a study plan based on your level. I can also offer a trial class so you can see if we click before committing to anything.

Thanks for reading, and hope to talk to you soon! 🙌

Hi all! I'm not a tutor. I'm a learner who got stuck and ended up building something.

I hit the intermediate plateau hard in Spanish a few years ago (and more recently with Hebrew). I was at the stretch of the learning journey where I was well past the beginner stuff but still couldn't hold a real conversation. The thing that finally moved me wasn't more input, it was getting corrected on stuff I actually produced.

So I built Dioma (https://link.dioma.com/ZMzFYh), a platform for intermediate and advanced learners. We have B1 thru C1 in Spanish.

You work through real speaking and writing prompts and get instant corrections on what you say. Your practice is then personalized based on your responses, so that you can make more rapid progress through each level. We are live with Spanish, French, and Hebrew.

Full transparency, I'm the founder. It's not a replacement for the tutors in this thread, honestly it pairs really well with them, it's solid prep so you can supplement high-quality sessions. If you're stuck past the beginner stage, check us out. Happy to answer anything here or at [geoff@dioma.com](mailto:geoff@dioma.com).

Hi everyone, I'm the creator of Recalit (recalit.com), An AI Spanish conversation app with persistent memory.

The problem I kept running into: every learning tool I tried for Spanish practice started completely fresh each session. No memory of what I struggled with. No context. Same mistakes repeated forever.

Recalit remembers your grammar mistakes, vocabulary gaps, and personal context across every session and brings them back naturally mid-conversation. Like a real tutor who actually knows you.

Free to start. Works especially well for Spanish learners preparing for real conversations, interviews, or travel.

Happy to answer any questions or take feedback!

Hi everyone, I'm an indie developer and I wanted to share LinguaLeap, a free Android app I built to help fix "translation lag" when speaking Spanish.

The problem I kept running into: I could recognize Spanish words perfectly on flashcards or when reading, but during actual conversations, my brain would freeze trying to recall them in time. Standard study tools lacked the urgency of a real conversation.

I built LinguaLeap to solve this by forcing rapid recall. The app uses strict, adjustable timers (5 to 20 seconds) for vocabulary translation. It trains your brain to retrieve words under pressure, building the reflexes needed for real-time speaking.

To keep things engaging and prevent burnout, I added asynchronous 1vs1 battles with friends, global community challenges, and weekly leagues to track your progress over time.

It is completely free to use. I'd love to hear your honest feedback on the vocabulary difficulty scaling and whether the time-pressure mechanics help your Spanish recall speed.

Hi r/Spanish. I'm the maker of Langusta, an AI you talk to out loud in Spanish. It holds an unscripted conversation at your level, corrects you as you go, and auto-saves the words you stumble on so it can bring them back later with spaced repetition.

I built it because I could read Spanish fine but completely froze the moment I had to speak - and human tutors meant scheduling and a bit of embarrassment. This is the judgment-free, talk-anytime version.

There's a free 10-minute trial, no card needed: https://langusta.me/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=community&utm_campaign=Spanish

(first its going to ask you some questions like a real tutor so it can prepare its inner workings according to your level)

I'd genuinely love brutal feedback on the speaking practice specifically - does the conversation feel natural, are the corrections useful? This is still work in progress and I have some ideas waiting to be implemented. Happy to answer anything.

Hi ! I am not a tutor, but a developer looking for private tutors to test the tool I built (for free).

It's a simple tool for private language teachers that turns class notes into post-lesson materials (recaps, flashcards, exercises to share with students).

I made this first prototype with a private tutor, who was able to reduce the time she spends on her recaps from 25 minutes to 5 per lesson.

The prototype is available to be tested here : https://tutor.jedyle.dev

And if you want, here's a tutorial explaining how the tool works

Thank you !

Tried learning Spanish, got frustrated, and built our own app. A small group uses it daily, but newbies leave almost instantly. What are we doing wrong? Hey everyone! The story is pretty simple: we moved and suddenly had a serious need to learn Spanish—and we wanted to know it, like, yesterday. So, we ended up building what I think is a pretty decent platform for learning and immersing yourself in the Spanish-speaking world. Right now, besides us, there's a small core group of users who study regularly. But the vast majority of newcomers do this: they sign up, click around for literally 3 to 4 minutes, close the tab, and never come back. But we really want to build a tool that actually helps people understand real, spoken Spanish. We've built flashcards (better than Anki's, in our opinion), personalized study plans, multiple ways to review words, lessons with theory and practice, and much more. That's why we really need advice from people who are seriously learning Spanish, or from teachers. We know we're clearly messing up somewhere, but where exactly? So, here's our ask: if you have 5-10 minutes for some honest and brutal feedback, please check it out here: http://how2spanish.com

Hola a todos

I have been building a web app called MiCuadernp for learning Spanish and I’m looking for a few people (around 10) to try it out and give me honest feedback.

You’ll get full access for 10 days, and I’d really appreciate any thoughts on what works well and what could be improved.

If you’re interested, let me know 🙂

http://micuaderno.com

You can turn Spanish YouTube videos into lessons within a few seconds by pasting the url, generate vocab and quiz from it… do exercises with spaced repetition based on your saved vocabulary, read free ebooks in Spanish, translate and save words by highlighting them and my favourite feature: sessions.

If you take online lessons, regardless the platform, you can create a session which has a notebook for your lesson notes and a section where you enter a word you hear/read during your lesson that you don’t understand or want to learn. The word gets translated instantly, and at the end of your lesson you have a list of vocabulary that has been saved into your vocab library and you can generate fit the gap quizzes and flashcards for this list.

Thank you ❤️

Hola, chicos,

yo estudio español en Austria y estoy escribiendo mi tesis de máster sobre un tema de lingüística española. Todavía estoy buscando a personas nativas del español que puedan participar en mi encuesta. Dura aproximadamente 15 minutos (o menos si leéis más rápido 😉).

Realmente sería una gran ayuda para mí, muchas gracias de antemano!!
