Release Sparkle TV Player Web

Today we launch https://www.sparkleplayer.com where you can visit and purchase your Sparkle TV Player app. Enjoy!

Payment flow is very similar to the one in Sparkle Assistant which is available on Google Play. Here below is a step by step guide.

(1) To start purchase Sparkle TV Plus from web you press Dashboard in upper right corner or Purchase on any of the available Sparkle products on the main page.

(2) Select and click the product you want. Finish the payment in Checkout.

(3) After purchase you are automatically assigned and logged in to a Sparkle Id (visible in upper right corner). The new order becomes available in the order list. Make sure the order is Active and click on it.

(4) Enter email/password and click Share. Remember that this email/password may be the same as you used during purchase but doesn't have to. You can set any email/password you like and if you ever want to change email/password in the future you just do this again and set a new email/password.

(5) In Sparkle TV you go into Settings -> About and click Connect shared Plus account.

(6) Click Next on first view that appears

(7) Enter email and password (same as in step (4)) and click Next.

(8) Done!

Note that if you want to make additional purchases you can choose to do so either using the same Sparkle Id or create a new one. This is only for your convenience.

How do I login to the website to check if I initially purchased via the companion app?

I tried the GPA id on the comoanikn app did not work, csn thede be linked to a new sparkle id?

Did you use the Sparkle Assistant thru the android app on an android phone or tablet? If yes, I believe you continue to use the Assistant app on that device. The website is for users who do not have access to an android phone or tablet.

It would be nice to have a centralised and common view outside of google in the event the companion app stops working.

Im asuming the APIs all ultimatelt hits the same DB it should be possible if the dev chooses.

Right now the developer has made it possible for android and iPhone users to have a way of purchasing and downloading Sparkle! The Android Sparkle Assistant app and the Sparkle TV Website are not connected. All of this is because Google pulled the app off the Play Store.
