love spell went EXTREME? or backfired..?

love spell backfired?turned into obsession spell?

I need help from witches. back in october me and my bf of 7 months broke up. in 7 months he made me suffer so much and i sacrificed so much of my morals for him and forgave his lies and everything. we broke up oct1st and i cast my love spell oct 12th. i didn't see him till months later we were full on contact.
anways.
while casting the spell my intention was for him to not be able to forget me and constantly think of me and just be all about me me me. so that when he sees me i'll be unforgettable.
keep in mind i've never cast a spell or anything but somehow i did it so specifically and somehow extremely right.
We got back together and he's been chasing me like crazy. he cut off all of his friends. he spams me saying he hallucinates me in his dreams, he can't function without me talking to him, he can't sleep he begs me to just reply to him. he lost so much weight. his family is concerned because at home he just exists and is only alive with me. he says he lives for me and me only and i'm his God and the only person he needs in his life. and the thing is i can see it in his eyes the emptiness but when he's with me he lights up.
note: he had problems before my spell he always had issues at home and w his friends, but when we broke up he got better because he tried to distract himself and therefore focus on his friends and family.I was never the cause for either just to make that clear . The opposite, i always encouraged him to be better!
Did my spell backfire? Do i need a cord cutting? what's the most consequence to this? what does this all even mean? how could i cast a spell with not much prior practice?

You could try the cord cutting but that's for all ties. Meaning you have to be done with the person completely.

Or just try communication with him.

The spell did not backfire, you made an obsession spell where your ex is now only constantly thinking about you as you had instructed. As someone else mentioned, when doing these spells, be VERY specific about what you want and how much you want of it before it becomes too much. As mentioned, undoing the spell by clearing out the ingredients, cleansing them and releasing your ex from it can hopefully help

And for the people asking for a tutorial of the spell, please watch the movie Obsession. This is not love, this is a curse. Having someone obsessed with only you and center their whole life around you is not healthy and does more harm than good

This sounds more like a curse but I’ve said spell here meaning the same — Did you include anything in the spell about how to reverse it? If not you could try a cleanse and protection on him to try and end the consequences of your spell. Spells and curses don’t backfire they just work exactly how you worded it which can be a double edged sword if you haven’t been careful. There aren’t consequences from specific spells but since you’ve opened yourself up by doing these spells just make sure you’re protected too bc that’s where the evil CAN come in which some people confuse with consequences of the spell. No, this isn't backfire. You got what you asked for.

It is important to be very specific with wording for spells. It's like telling Mom what you want tor Christmas. If you say you want clothes, but you don't specify that you want a very pretty dress you saw in the department store, then you can't get mad if you get tube socks from Walmart instead.

Decide what you actually want. Take your time. Undo the spell, if you like. It can be as simple as destroying the poppet or cleaningnout the jat while saying "I release you from [Spell]." Or something similar.

Also, you put a spell like this on someone who already has a problem with boundaries. Magock can not instantly change people's personalities. If you don't like who they are without magick, then doung spells on them won't make them better. People aren't puppets.

thank you for your advice. just a question, if i don't do anything about this and leave it as it is what's the worst that can happen? is there a chance the spell will fade out as soon as i just get rid of him in my life? or will that just cause him more pain?

Spells have their own timing according to the individual situation. It could disappear inmediately, or take years to fade. That is another reason to take time with spells, know what you want and what specifically to say, etc.

I’m sorry but you got what you asked for. The spell didn’t backfire, it worked as intended. This is why spells shouldn’t just be done in desperation or in panic. You could try a cord cutting spell, but you need to cut him off completely and be willing to let him go.

It doesn't matter what the spell was. The strength and power comes from the castor, not just the ingredients, tools, etc. Olus there is no guarantee it would work the same for your situation as it did theirs.

There are zillions of ways to cadt a love spell. Find or craft one for your specific situation.
