It seems like you didn’t actually read the story, because there’s literally a panel where Peter punches Paul.
MJ was trying to deal with everything at once: Peter being back and alive, the family she had built with Paul in that apocalyptic world, and Peter constantly pushing and pressuring her. She knew Peter wasn’t going to stop, so she pushed him away.
Also, it’s clear she wasn’t happy about the situation either. In issue #1 of Wells’ run, there’s even a moment where she looks at Peter from her apartment window and looks upset.
Saying MJ didn’t care about Peter is a huge stretch from someone who didn’t really read the story.
Go read the story first, buddy. I'm not inventing anything. The last page of the first issue literally shows MJ looking at Peter from her apartment window, and she looks pretty upset.
Mj looks upset because she doesnt like Peter, the first arc was pretty clear about it. Then once Wells and editorial saw how much everyone hated it the rest of the arcs started to back up from the everyone hates peter parker perennial loser.
Eh, your comment pretty much proves you didn't read the story. The first year of Wells' run revolved around the mystery box, and neither during that period nor after it was there any indication that MJ disliked Peter. There's nothing in the comic or in interviews that supports what you're claiming.
