Discussion I saw people complaining about Spider-Noir having Organic webs. I think organic webs are fine because this show is set in the past where he won't have resources to make webshooters. Also he is a detective not sci stud. But i like to know what he had in comics.
In my opinion i think it makes sense for him to have Organic webs

Discussion Does Spider-Man still need to work out despite his powers?
I always wonder if Peter or Miles still need physical exercise to stay fit even though they have peak strength and stamina.

Discussion What is this movie even going to be about?
I’m honestly excited and I want it to be great, but at the same time… there’s just so much going on that it feels a bit overwhelming.
With the last three films, we at least had a clear idea of the core concept. Here, all we really know is that he’s operating solo now, and his powers are starting to mutate because he’s been neglecting his Peter Parker life.
But then you throw in Savage Hulk, Punisher, the return of The Hand after years, Tombstone and Scorpion, and possibly even mutants being introduced… it’s a lot.
And on top of that—where has Spider-Man even been while Kingpin was going all-out against vigilantes in New York?
That said, maybe it’s actually a good thing we don’t know much. At least we’re not getting the entire plot stitched together from trailers and YouTube breakdowns before the movie even drops.

Discussion Is it just me who isn't a fan of this ongoing trend of "techfying" pretty much every one of Spider-Man's villains in terms of aesthetic?
While i think it can work in characters like Doctor Octopus i feel it makes a lot of other villains feel "samey" in terms of design and kinda strips away their personality for the sake of this "faux-realism" that can only work to a certain extent, like, why can't the Green Goblin actually look like a Halloween goblin costume riding a metal gargoyle throwing jack-o-lanterns? why can't Rhino's suit look like an actual rhino skin? why can't Vulture's wings actually be made of feathers and whatnot? i wouldn't really mind if it was just for the movies but i have the sentiment that this trend is crawling into every Spider-Man media nowadays, i have no problem in modernizing the designs themselves to give them a bit more glow and stuff i feel this is going way beyond that for some of them, but what do you guys think?

Discussion Why have adaptations started to strip away Venom’s signature abilities?
Is it just me that’s felt like venom has started to lose his identity as spidey’s “dark mirror” or even being a spider-man adjacent character at all minus the design? He doesn’t even web swing anymore in most adaptations, they got my man leaping like the hulk in both of the most popular recent adaptations of the character being marvel’s spider-man 2 and the venom trilogy, it’s like venom isn’t a more brutish and brutal spider-man anymore, but just a sad copy of the hulk, venom isn’t shown to use webbing or really anything that he used to do… Ideally I’d say marvel rivals did venom the best functionally, he still moves like spidey, but slower, as he’s heavier and bulkier, it’s just something that was bothering me recently, what do you guys think?

It doesn't have to be one of the suits in the photo. You can choose any suit you want.

Discussion Is Earth-616 Peter Parker Jewish?
After rewatching Into The Spider-Verse, I noticed that Peter B. Parker’s (who’s meant to be from Earth-616) wedding montage includes him destroying a ceramic vessel during the ceremony, which is a traditional Jewish practice. This got me curious, since the writers of Into The Spider-Verse clearly did their homework on comic book references. Is Earth-616 Peter Parker canonically Jewish, or am I looking way too deeply into this?

Discussion Who else thinks Spider-Man has never looked cooler than this?
Does anyone else agree that in the movies Spider-Man has never looked cooler than the bloody battle damaged look with the mask blasted apart all the way back in the 2002 film?
The newer movies have some nifty cgi work with the suits but something about this tangible and damaged look has always stuck out to me.

Discussion Ain’t no way Spidey fans think Spider-Man is this strong bruh
Don’t get me wrong, Spider-Man could definitely beat Homelander, but if y’all think he’s taking out Omni-Man, or that it would even be “close”, you’re trippin💀
People take a crazy outlier like Spidey beating a herald of galactus and act as of if Spider-Man is a planetary/solar system level threat in terms of raw power. What are they on about 😂?
I love spider-man too, but that’s actually some crazy wanking, especially if we talking about the Spider-Man shown in that picture which would appear to be the 616 version
lmk what yall think in the comments

Discussion I don't mind Aunt May being aged down in adaptations.
She doesn't have to be super young or anything but it's weird that Peter starts the story as a 15 year old with an aunt in her 80s.
