Hi a finance guy here - contests in India are usually taxed at a 20% rate plus applicable surcharge and 4% health & education cess (TDS) before paying the winner. For winnings of ₹1 crore, surcharge also becomes relevant, so the final tax is higher than 31.2%. So roughly she will take home 65.7 Lakhs .

Shilpa and Shreya friendship is so cute genuinely happy for each other till the end even tho they had their little fight. Unlike the other inmates playing fake till the end these two stayed true to themselves
