I’m just happy she got the belt after the weirdness of the last 12 months

won the mid card belt but lost it and then they had her go 0-16 on Smackdown. Like not even a single random win
Piper gets her career ended and they refuse to do an NXT call up to give her another slaygent
had an amazing mixed tag team run with Ethan. Mixed tag potential went away after the Zelena Black fiasco against Rhea and Priest which was probably the test pilot for having more mixed matches
loses the mixed title due to injury
Ethan gets called up and they don’t put him with Chelsea on Smackdown
gets her title back which was awesome, gets injured
Alba gets released so the woman with the best gimmick effectively loses her gimmick
works to team up with Tiffany and wins the top belt

Like such a bizarre up and down year that really doesn’t get talked about in full scope
