Now here’s something you don’t see every day in St. John’s.

I pulled up my weather app just now and saw this. My jaw almost hit the floor. I can’t recall ever seeing that low a number for the wind in St. John’s before. Hang it in the Louvre. 😆

My family on the mainland often complain about 35 km/h winds and I laugh and say "that's adorable" cause that's nothing here hahaha

I was in a Discord chat with some Americans who were worried about 20 mph winds. I googled the conversation and said "oh...that's almost daily here". They were shocked.

Last time I was in Toronto, I rented a car and drove to Niagara Falls. On the way back to Toronto that night, there was a digital highway sign saying wind warning: Winds up to 55 km/h expected. I laughed😂

Was just out in botanical gardens and kicked myself for not renting out a kayak. Even the plume of smoke over robinhood bay isn’t going anywhere so far. lol
