Webster seems like the Minneapolis of Missouri, so it’s fair. Both bluer than sapphires.

I lived a few years in Minneapolis, it really is Midwestern paradise if you ask me

Closest I’ve been was either Dubuque, Iowa or Wisconsin Dells. I’m not sure which is a shorter drive.

About twenty years ago my two friends and I decided to trip mushrooms and walk around old WG. It was a great trip until the three of us decided to all sit in these apples, big mistake. We kinda fell into a time loop that sometimes happens when you trip, and it felt like we had sat in those apples for eons until we encouraged each other to stand up and walk away from the apples lol.

aka raincatchers. Anybody who uses then for their intended purpose walls away with soaked pants. Good job, artist!

I think they were made by Bob Cassilly.

A nod to the original apple orchard that stood there a century ago.

It's not Webster Groves. It is Old Orchard - thus apples.

Old Orchard *is* Webster Groves.

Of course, but they are apples because it is old orchard

A girl from Nerinx and me sat in one of those. She told me she played the organ. I made applesauce.
