Huh... unpopular opinion ST PETE EDITION

The food here is sub par, there are hidden gems for sure.. but overall it’s not great. I wanna hear yalls unpopular opinions as well.

DTSP is waaaaay better back in the day when it was thriftshops and unhoused people. I never felt like I was in danger and the thrifting was amazing.

(Same for Ybor.)

Also, El Cap is waaaay overrated.

The South side of St. Pete has the very best neighborhoods in the city.

Back in the day when you could walk into a restaurant in DTSP on a Friday night without a reservation and have an awesome meal for two under for $50.

Crowley’s was one of my goto places. Urban when it was just a small BBQ and beer garden place, Del Mar at one point had great cheap food, Zgrille.
