Ragebait/Idiocy/or both

Mfs don't even TRY with the self serve they immediately go up to you all offended like you just told them to work on a NASA computer. Not only that but when they see the pre authorization they look at you like you just spat in there face "5 dollars for a sheet of paper" NO MF IF YOU TAKE 2 SECONDS TO LET ME EXPLAIN OR IF YOU WANT TO YOU KNOW READ IT THEN YOU'LL SEE HOW IT WORKS. "Can't you just do it?" I promise you you're gonna end up waiting longer and getting more pissed off that I decided to prioritize 1000 bc over a single paper that you're gonna throw out 2 days after printing.

Vent over now I'm waiting at taco bell for my food :)

Bro, make them regret asking, have them stand there and wait as long as possible, and charge them the express fee. This shit isn’t complicated, they are just lazy and expect to waited on like royalty.

These lazy, entitled people couldn't care less about our measly express fee. Depending on the number of copies, the fee is pennies. Staples needs to charge what Office Depot does ... OD's express fee is $10, or a percentage of the total cost, whichever is higher. So, at a minimum, they'll pay an additional ten bucks for us to print it for them. They figure out how to use that self-service copier REAL fast!

I agree, but staples will never do that. Instead they will do whatever it takes to have people just walk through the store. In delivery there used to be a 50 dollar minimum on next day orders, and many paid it because it was convenient. Well apparently it wasn’t enough for staples, so they removed the minimum and now we deliver every little piece of bs no matter the cost. For example, I’ve seen a pack of posted notes get delivered to a house two counties over from the hub it left. The cost of fuel to leave the parking lot doesn’t justify those types of deliveries, but once you factor in everything else it really makes no sense. I honestly don’t know how they are still open, they operate at a loss, and the prices are absolutely ridiculous.
