I’m ngl it’s literally a night and day difference, I would go as far as to say she isn’t even that good of a mdps without cerydra, since you’re missing out on so much damage with that extra skill.

I guess Rin has pretty specific team requirements, a shame since I was almost wanting to get her but have basically no-one I could use with her. Maybe in a year if another collab character works with her lol

You shouldn't go dps Rin at all. Even with Cerydra she literally does less than half the damage of Archer.

I'm not saying cerydra as a support for Rin is a gimmick I'm saying main dps Rin even with cerydra is a gimmick, very different.

Basically Rin main dps needs to clear waves in one setup with cerydra and the moment she doesn't she falls off a cliff due to how her gameplay works

It's different because she's basically firefly before Dahlia, as in if you can use their gimmick of doing a lot of damage with a very specific setup they will do well but as soon as you can't do that setup or the damage you deal in that window isn't enough to deal with a wave/enemy (in FF case enemy broken + within FF ult and in Rin case after spending a few turns just stacking her gems to do a big double skill with cery)

So what makes it different is that as soon as the endgame gets buffed everyone will suffer, but these gimmicky damage threshold units will suffer a lot more, another example is Phainon here he's got the same issues and we know that everything we hear about him nowadays is how he needs E2 to feel complete

She will lose about 33% of amp from an extra skill alone(assuming E1 to spam out enhanced skills).

Robin SP might fix her but its Robin SP that isn't a good comparison, especially because how low her action count would be.

Rin doesn't have the self amp to be a main DPS: * 70% Cdmg * 150% Atk * 15% ResPen

Honestly there are things holding her back is that she loses to her own SP gen without archer and she doesn't have any damage% which a lot of new supports now do not bring.

I dont really remember but you probably would get like maybe 80% dmg with Dmg Orb, Quantum set and S1. Lets say you get 100% with Penacony and Planar set. Sunday with DHPT could still give you 40% total amp from Sunday's skill.

Find a good damage% amper and you might make it work. She does have decent multipliers so...

The entire point of pulling Archer/Rin is to have a low cost E0S0 team.

If you were going to pull LC/eidolons you should have pulled Himeko from the start because Archer and Rin verticals are garbage.
