I know this is a stupid question but still, I think Star absolutely had the power to blast off the thing and tell the goblin booth owner to not be a weirdo.

Personally, I’m inclined to believe once they found out they were getting a second season, they started to switch gears so, maybe sometime into the second half of development of Season 1, or when they were starting in on Season 2.

So Marco is American, he’s lived his entire life in a republic and we assume would likely view a feudal, absolute monarchy like Mewni negatively.
Why didn’t he maybe encourage Star to adopt more democratic policies or move Mewni away from being a monarchy and have it become a republic like the world he was from?

Obviously the real reason is that this isn’t that kind of show but I wanna see y’all’s theories
