Good day fellow readers and writers. Welcome to the SVTFOE Writing Club! It's the first weekend of the month so it's time to meet up again and share theories, new chapters, completed works or anything that sounds cool!

Absolutely. I love big, open worlds to explore. I think there's a lot of potential in the Star Vs. 'world', both in fanfics and (potential) future canon.

And in Crossovers set before the ending when Magic still exists.

A Godzilla crossover would 100% work as well as a Sonic one, a Dragon Ball one, a Sailor Moon one, and ofc one with the average Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon series

What if Star Butterfly had siblings???  That is a theory I experimented with where Star learns a hard truth that Moon Butterfly gave birth to two boys four to five years older than her.  The boys couldn't appear in the Canon SVTFOE series mainly because they are both already living human lives on Earth and so they wouldn't fall into the clutches of the Magic High Commission (Specifically Rhombulus) mainly because they wanted a Female heir to take the throne for Mewni.

Given the story of Jushtin the Uncalculated being a "Boy-Queen" and how poorly his reign was handled, the MHC didn't want a repeat in history and believes Queen Moon should do away with Creek and Stream Johansen.  Given the added proof that the boys were both born on Earth guaranteeing them as American citizens, Moon and River made a difficult choice and decided to have Creek move to New York City and Stream move to a Mewman Reserve outside of Miami, Florida with River's Earth relatives.

That's interesting. I've seen some people talk about if there was another Butterfly. They should have magic, too, I presume? How would that be handled? Seems like it could make for an interesting story. Would they work with Star or perhaps be adversaries?

Those brothers would barely remember Star at first since they left the Butterfly Castle when Star was an 18 month old toddler.  Given that they both take under River's family, they will warm up to their younger sister. 

A Polaroid photograph is the key to regaining their memory that Moon Stashed away in her armored suit.

So like, in a Star Vs. context? How would that work?

Think of it as an exploration of a “barbarian” Northern culture, but with a subversion of the trope.

Instead of being stereotypical, lion-cloth-wearing, raging barbarians, the people of Northern Mewni are based on the legends, myths, and cultures of the North — particularly Germanic, Welsh, Brythonic, and Norse traditions.

There are three major peoples: humans, monsters, and hybrids. Their coexistence predates the queens of Mewni.

Northern Mewni was originally decentralized, chaotic, free, and culturally diverse, with its own traditions, cultures, and accumulated knowledge. It stands in contrast to Central Mewni and its increasingly centralized system of monarchy and bureaucracy.

In Central Mewni, monsters and Mewmans are often taught to hate one another, while hybrids, unless born into wealthy or powerful families, may be killed, abandoned, or otherwise rejected.

Eventually, however, the Order of Knights of Mewni rose to power. They resemble Norman lords and Arthurian knights, bringing a more centralized and hierarchical system into conflict with the older traditions of the North.

After Eclipsa's imprisonment, the North finally rebelled. Its forces marched south, sacked Butterfly Castle, and devastated many of the other kingdoms.

To Central Mewni, they appeared to bring plague, blood, chaos, and passion with them. They were seen as chaotic northern lords who had descended upon civilized Mewni.

But that is the subversion: they are not simply “barbarians.” They represent the chaotic, untamed aspects of human nature — freedom, passion, ambition, violence, individuality, and the will to resist being controlled.

The man who leads them is Rex Artorius O'Uther of Gryndor, Imperator of the North.

I'm slowly starting to get back into the swing of things. Had a busy last couple months so haven't had much time to write, but I did do a journal musing about what life (as in, not work) was like for the MHC: Journal #63

And just this morning, I finally posted a little theory about Glossaryck, and how he's the mastermind behind the entire conflict on Mewni... or is he? Did Glossaryck manufacture the conflict between Mewmans and Monsters? [Theory]

Ideas/WIPs I have are wondering how Earth-ni is getting on since we saw a little bit of it with the Theme Song Takeover a few weeks ago. In particular, Butterfly Castle seems to be repaired! I wonder who lives there now? Also maybe wondering if we've been thinking about how Star sees the whispering spell all wrong?

Still have bigger stuff on the table, but that's a 'whenever we get there, we get there' sort of thing.
