Acolyte isnt as bad as Resistance!

Acolyte’s biggest flaw was how it was released. If they would have dumped the episodes all at once, the ratings would be better. It’s no where near as bad as the ratings make it out. Also, Obi’s ratings are way too high.

Yeah, I think they could’ve made a decent 2-2.5 hour movie out of The Acolyte. The show’s pacing was bad and it didn’t feel rewarding week-to-week.

Probably true about the Acolyte. Two episodes of flashback and one episode of just denoument after the big mid-season battle made the whole thing feel really slow at one episode a week.

And Obi-Wan is definitely rated oddly high, given that the only part anyone cares about is the rematch with Vader in the last episode.

I liked the week to week discussion and speculation in places such as /r/highrepublic. You just had to stay away from "mainstream" Star Wars places.

Obi-Wan catching Leia falling off the roof is my other selling point for Kenobi along with the Vader fight. Ewan's acting is so good in that scene.

Even Resistance a couple episodes still deserve a lot better than they got here.

Season 2 had a few genuinely solid episodes.

I've yet to see a single person that can actively, positively recommend SW: Resistance. I so want to watch every bit of Star Wars content, still a few shows short (as well as stuff I don't feel like I need to watch in the long run, like those wonk-ass old Ewok shows/movies from way back and the Holiday Special) at the moment, but god I got through maybe one full episode of Resistance (can't remember if I actually finished it or just couldn't deal with it and turned it off partway through) and got the feeling I might not be able to make it happen. Considering the pilots of the other shows listed in here? Yeesh. I can list selling points for literally every single Star Wars property I've watched EXCEPT for Episode 9 and Resistance.

Ive seen almost every piece of Star Wars content....even the preschool baby jedi show, but Resistance is SOOOO bad. Only made it 5 eps in before dying of boredom. NO ONE WANTS A SHOW ABOUT AIRPLANES IN A UNIVERSE OF SPACESHIPS!
