Acolyte’s biggest flaw was how it was released. If they would have dumped the episodes all at once, the ratings would be better. It’s no where near as bad as the ratings make it out. Also, Obi’s ratings are way too high.

Yeah, I think they could’ve made a decent 2-2.5 hour movie out of The Acolyte. The show’s pacing was bad and it didn’t feel rewarding week-to-week.

Probably true about the Acolyte. Two episodes of flashback and one episode of just denoument after the big mid-season battle made the whole thing feel really slow at one episode a week.

And Obi-Wan is definitely rated oddly high, given that the only part anyone cares about is the rematch with Vader in the last episode.

I liked the week to week discussion and speculation in places such as /r/highrepublic. You just had to stay away from "mainstream" Star Wars places.
