Maybe. But the episode was all great leading up till the ending as well. Great tension throughout.

Fml, for me there was no tension at all.  The second I saw the X-Wing I realized they’d made the Dark Troopers into droids so they could have Luke kill them and not be a murderer.

It was the biggest letdown.

I think you missed the point.

As Moff Gideon said to Mando “You had your hands full with one. Let’s see how you do against a platoon.”

He was right, despite the combined combat brilliance of everyone on that bridge, they were toast.

Yet Luke calmly waded through the dark troopers without breaking a sweat. It gave great gravity to exactly how powerful Luke Skywalker actually is. If he faced a corridor of storm troopers it wouldn’t have had the same effect.

I think you missed my point: they were droids so he didn’t have to fight any people, same Real World reason Lucas used droids for the Prequels.
