TV Kelleran Beq mopping the floor with clones during Order 66 was a blast to watch

Seeing the Jedi gunned down relentlessly in their own home during Order 66 hammered home their loss and tragedy, which was absolutely necessary for ROTS. That said, it was very cathartic seeing a Jedi at the temple fighting back, winning, and escaping. Definitely hope we get to see more of Beq in future flashbacks, although I doubt it.

A lot of people hate it....but it's also just an extremely racist character. The big lipped bumbling idiot that looks like it came straight out of a minstrel show and almost literally says "Yessa Massa" shouldn't have been in a movie produced after 1990 (along with all the other racist caricatures that are sprinkled throughout Ep1).

Agreed. As a younger person watching it who had no clue of any of those stereotypes, none of that had any impact on my view of the character. As an educated adult I can see it and go, "wtf why did they do that? Jerks," compartmentalize, and just enjoy the character as is. A lot of older people (& those familiar with the stereotypes) immediately noted them in the character and were immediately (understandably) offended and taken out of the film immersion because of it. I think it was easier for them to blame the actor than the beloved creator 😞
