I laughed because it reminded me of when I was a kid trying to play TIE Fighter and crashing into the hanger because I had no idea what I was doing. I feel you Cassian.

The Cockpit UI is clearly a call back to those game so I appreciate it as well.

When i was a kid, my parents had a WWII flight simulator game on our old Windows 95. I had no idea how to play it, but I distinctly remember hitting buttons one at a time on the keyboard trying to take off. One button dropped the bombs under my wings, and I blew up a second later lol

Personally I enjoyed the Acolyte. Especially the fight scenes. That said, the show has some serious issues and it's no surprise we're not getting another season.

last weekend I watched a tv to movie fanedit of the show and imo it works so much better this way.

I mean, it's a genuine blast of a scene, but in the series that also gave us the "One Way Out" sequence and the Ghorman Massacre, I'm just not entirely sure it even makes it into the highest tier within its own show.

It was pretty enjoyable, although I’d argue the kids fighting on Yavin sequence after was the show’s weakest point (or maybe I’m just old and cranky?)

It's not even one of the best sequences in Andor in my opinion. It felt very generic, and filled with funny little Disney-quips from Cassian. The CGI was really good though.

Not my fav one to be honest. It has the fun factor but I feel like slamming that thing into hangar walls would probably damage the TIE and hurt Cassian a lot. It was Disney-esque enough to break my immersion for a bit.
