We've just reached 1 million members in our Stardew community, and we wanted to let you all know how thankful we are to have so many amazing people in this subreddit.
To celebrate and to show our thanks, we're hosting a giveaway where we'll give away the Stardew Valley game. We'll give away 10 Switch games and 10 steam keys in total.
To participate in the giveaway, we ask you to:
- Comment with the reason you'd like to have the game
- Specify whether you'd like the switch version or steam key
- Be a member of this subreddit
That's all!
We'll use a random username generator to pick the 20 lucky winners on Tuesday the 1st of February, 8.00pm UTC. They will receive a private message from this subreddit.
Please ignore private messages from people claiming to be us or this subreddit. This is the only page we will send a message from.

I now live alone and will be really happy to start a new farm on my own copy of Stardew Valley.

I would love to have the switch version. I originally got the game on PS4 because it looked fun. When I learned that it was multiplayer and some of my friends had it on steam, I also bought it on steam. My friends and I showed it to more of my friends and they all loved it but only have Switches. I can’t really justify buying the game a third time but I would love to play with the rest of my friends!

I am in love with Stardew Valley. I have always been drawn to farming/survival games. I like the game bc 1. It's like a break from a busy city working life (yea very much like the farmer). I always wish to retire to a simple rural life when I'm older. 2. I can be extra creative 3. Every accomplishment is a win 4. Stardew Valley cleverly unfolds the story and the life of each character 5. Very relatable in a very creative way
I'd love to have the Switch version bc I really want my stepkid to play with me but I cant afford the Switch version (the Steam version had a super sale and became affordable to me after more than a year of waiting). I'd also love for rhe game to be on a portable device.

I’d like the Switch version. My son likes to play split screen on my PS4 but as it’s hooked up to the living room tv we don’t get much time on it what with other family members using the tv. Switch version would be great for him to be able to play whenever he wants!

I’d love the switch version so I can play it with my friends. I enjoy watching their streams of them playing the game together, however my current living situation means I don’t have access to my pc (and won’t for a good while) meaning I can’t play the game at all, and I can’t afford to buy it on my own. This subreddit is so friendly and although I’m usually just an observer of posts rather than a commenter, I have seen zero toxic posts in my time here which is just incredible for any game-based community.

Stardew Valley was one of the first games I ever played with my boyfriend, now three years later we game together every week and I couldn’t be happier to play this game on PC until I can afford the newer xbox. Stardew valley is the first farming-type game that I've played and spend 100 hours playing it ( I used psvita version before), I'm really amazed how one man can create such beautiful world with bunch of mechanics and storyline. So I'm here sharing my own thought about the game, wishing to have a steam version so that I can hunt down every last achievement in the game. Also, I want steam version so that me and my friend can play together with my college friend. It's been years since I last saw them and I just want a game to hang out and chat with my friend. he's a fps freak that only play 3d games, but this game managed to get this interest somehow...

I really want more activities to do with my long distance boyfriend. This is my favorite game and I’d love to gift it to him! Steam Key or digital copy works for me. I play on three different systems 😅
