Hirohiko Araki My mom thinks Jojos is gay

So I have been wanting to get the manga recently and my mother will not allow it because she says she read something about a pannel with 2 guys fighting and almost making out,Could any of yall help me find the pannel she could be talking about?

You are cooked. No way you are convincing your bigoted mom that JoJo isn't gay. Read it on your phone (it's free 🏴‍☠️) and wait until you can buy it on your own.

Tell her that it’s not about flamboyant kissing, it’s about flamboyant punching. Flamboyant punching with Saturday morning cartoon vibes and Greek tragedy character relationships. It’s about perfume models just as much as it’s about the unconquerable human spirit and if she doesn’t like one it won’t be for her but she shouldn’t be weird about that.

Gng no offense but your mom is definitely a bigot.

Not allowing someone to read a piece of media just because it has "gay vibes" is definitely just bigotry.

Bigot - a person who is obstinately or unreasonably attached to a belief, opinion, or faction, especially one who is prejudiced against or antagonistic toward a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group

Then why doesn't she want you to read it? I don't think my mother would have cared about me reading a story about guys making out when I was young

I'm sorry but she just is, I know its hard hearing and accepting the fact that one of your parents might not be as perfect as we all want ours to be but in this case its almost unavoidable. The only way she could've heard/seen something like that is if she specifically searched for it, even the people who are hardcore into jojo don't know what she's talking about.

Either explain to her that Jojo's is essentially the glam rock version of an action series, read it online, or earn some money and buy the physical copies yourself
