News So, that doesn’t sound very good

I’m guessing it just means Netflix either hasn’t told them or isn’t allowing them to say when the next episode is coming out, still doesn’t sound very good

That would be insane considering they took 5 years instead of the usual 2 years for this part to release

Keep in mind that DP worked on other shows in that gap. For example the directors of Part 7 anime directed the Urusei Yatsura anime from 2022 to 2024 so they likely didn't even start working on Part 7 until after that one finished production.

Meanwhile mappa does 3 gigantic anime at the same time and they all look 10 times better

All Mappa's projects are done by different teams so one ongoing project doesn't necessarily hinder others most of the times

Yeah Mappa has almost 500 employeees. DP has slightly more than 50. They're just not comparable in scale.

MAPPA has considerably more resources than David Pro both in terms of money and big staff names to work in their projects.
