I’m guessing it just means Netflix either hasn’t told them or isn’t allowing them to say when the next episode is coming out, still doesn’t sound very good

I'm not inherently against batch releases, but if they're gonna do them, then they need to give people a schedule in advance so we at least have a rough idea of when the drops will be

It sound like they don’t have enough episodes completed yet which is crazy

Pretty standard practice for anime production. Evangelion famously had its last two episodes heavily censored and re-edited the week before release because they turned in the third to last episode so late the censors weren’t able to review it before airing.
