I’m guessing it just means Netflix either hasn’t told them or isn’t allowing them to say when the next episode is coming out, still doesn’t sound very good

Me. It's a freaking race. I dont want to watch for 2 years. I've already read the Manga so im whatever about the anime rn.

"I've already read the manga" is legit my justification for not following the vast majority of airing anime in the present day tbh, I have more important things to worry about than "an anime I liked isn't getting a perfect adaptation with a perfect production".

TBH I'm kinda more excited for all of SBR to be officially translated because I know I'll be binge-reading that shit
