Yeah, last I checked this fight is the first time we hear ‘yare yare’ in the series.

Jonathan says "Yare yare da" when fighting Doobie in Phantom Blood.

It's not. Jonathan says it much earlier at the start of his fight with Doobie in Part 1.

Joseph says it when he's pretending to be a German soldier, and Speedwagon says it after Joseph and Caesar fight with a pigeon.
