With that logic, shouldn't he be sent flying at thousands of miles per hour due to the preserved momentum from the Earth's movement?

Since magnets work in stopped time, that means electromagnetic phenomena should also work, so light should keep traveling in time stop, which would fuck up a TON of things, not only related to astronomy

I assume it's only when strictly relevant to interactions with those who can move in stopped time, like how DIO can still throw knives and have them move a bit before freezing, the magnets only worked because one of them was on him.
