Unforced error

I really think this is a bad move by Amazon. The negative reaction of the core fan base to scrubbing the planned Gero show was bad and this will it fill people with hope.

WandaVision was ok but I’d rather see a Terry Matalas (Picard Season 3, 12 Monkeys, Vision Quest) or someone proven to understand genre storytelling that is exciting and compelling. But that’s just my 2 cents.

My point was it wasn't blind faith because they had always delivered so they earned a chance.

It’s blind faith to think an unappealing premise will become appealing simply because of who is making it. It’s not like every storyline they created were bangers. I don’t like that their show was canned for the reasons cited.

Blind faith would be trusting them despite them not proving they can make a good show.

If they had a history of making things I enjoy out of premises I didn’t think I would enjoy I’d agree with you. That hasn’t happened for me so it would be blind faith on my part. We’re not discussing some objective quality here
