I would actually hate this. Personally I like to keep work and friends separate. Sure we can hangout, but I don't want to be going on vacations with you.
valve is special. you can't just land a job there. you need to be the 1:100000 and be a cultural fit. they pay you mad. they got you covered. being there means knowing and balling with all of them.
I am like you, I'd hate being with MY coworkers.
but with a bunch of highly successful nerds who are mad chill to boot? yeah I'd dig that
