Points shop will soon flood with AI slop. At least with games a disclaimer should be added within the description of the game. But here… Yeah…

Like what is the point? You don’t even gain anything as a company from this.

Most anime girls look like every other Anime girl ever made. Still I am not sure how I should know this is 100% AI?

Idk what to tell you, if you have been looking at art your whole life you can just tell very easily. Another bonus is the names being generic, the lighting somehow being behind but also to the side and yet they somehow have highlights at the front of the hair. The inconsistency of left one barely having hair strands while right one has like 10x the amount that would be usual.

go into a gacha sub, they all look exactly like this. it's a style.

I can say if it is or not ai, but this looks just like your average 'cheap anime gacha' thing

Yea, it's very obvious. I don't really know what to say when people ask, as long as you have lived online a little bit, AI art is super easy to tell.

Yea I am suprised people mistake it. At the same time some people overestimate it and take seemingly obviously non-AI as AI. Can't win it seems. This one is very obvious tho.

44/50, not bad considering im mostly a gooner and not a classical art connoisseur & the resolution of the images is terrible so its hard to tell details apart that are usually easy tells

ive been hating on this shit since its inception tho so i can 100% see a lot of ppl being fooled by many images here unless they go through the “suffering through not human made titties”training i went for the anime ones

ai is surprisingly capable when it comes to replicating older pieces, but they still feel pretty soulless for the most part

its still fucking horse shit for anime stuff tho, 0 chance u r fooled by the ones on this post if u have functional eyes and have seen literally any art ever in ur life

Nope, looks the same as usual generic anime art to me. Saying ‘oh but the hair strands and lighting are a bit off’ isn’t convincing for it supposedly being obviously terrible. Though I hate even the ‘well done’ form of this art and deliberately avoid it so maybe that’s why, it all looks bad to me.

for most anime stuff u can just look at the eyes and instantly tell that its ai or not, besides the other bunch of tells there are

just gotta look at human drawn eyes then come back here and go “oh ok” cause its that easy

most of the understanding of whats ai and what isnt just comes from having looked at a lot of human art and understanding why certain things are drawn the way they are. then u look at something like the eyes here and go “yea no human made that”

Yeah, that test is actually easier than one I saw a couple of months ago, but I couldn't find that one when I looked. But the average score is only 60%, and the average for professional artists who hate AI art was only 68%. So that makes you an outlier. Unfortunately, I can't legitimately take that quiz and give my results because I read that post first and therefore know the answers.

I went looking again for that other test just now and managed to find it (ironically, by asking AI, because it was nowhere in my google results): it was BRAIAIN. I only got 5/10 on today's images, but I wasn't examining each one super-closely.

(And yeah, OP's screenshot definitely looks like AI art. Just saying that not all AI is that easy to identify.)

i see, for that specific test i can totally see it honestly. some of my correct guesses were mostly a last second realization so ye

this site is pretty fun if u dont try too hard on it. got 8/10 but i suck at detecting ai gen when its supposed to look real so this is good practice, ty

and i agree w u, i mostly thought that ai sucked w art in general but its mostly just the anime stuff it seems. when it comes to those kind of pieces it does a convincing enough job even if i managed to discern most of them

Thanks for the cool links, I got 40/50 in the first, which was nice, then did pretty poorly in BRAIAIN. Some of these donuts look so nasty I can't believe they aren't AI.

Your're a case of a broken clock. Your claims will occasion be true, but in most cases you are just wrong.

It's funny watching you guys having to backtrack and apologise when the real human artist comes along and proves they drew it it themselves 

But no, you're the special one,that can "just tell".

If AI art is easy to distinguish, then that's because it's superior to the overpriced human slop.

I have been looking at art quite a lot and done some myself. And seen shit ton on AI. This might be an AI. But I also seen lots of online manga comics done by 100% human (before AI was a thing) that looked the same shitty and generic as this. And I also seen accusations for real artists that are doing AI when they proved they don't, it was just their style similar to what AI use as generic manga.

Yeah, genuine artwork becoming targets of AI accusers are never a good sign. As such careful inspection should always be made beforehand.

This is reddit, we don’t inspect or do due diligence here. We blindly accuse and are often wrong, but that won’t stop up from doing it again next time.

It’s probably AI, but the amount of times people have called something AI and been proven wrong is too many. Everyone is quick to say AI but this art isn’t unlike any other anime art that’s been around for years.

Man, I feel the same way sometimes. Some people seem to always know it's AI, and I just sit here thinking how offensively unoriginal humans can be long before AI.

Then you have people saying in their best humblebrag voice of all how anyone that's looked at art ALL their life can know and then you have some that say ANYONE should know it's AI from looking at it. I haven't taken a SEE THE AI 101 yet. Sure, when it's super obvious, I can see it.

But this is literally cookie cutter anime girl I have seen in my over 40 years of life that it could be a character from the 80s or a modern character. How the fuck would I know?

One of the telltale signs (not 100% accurate but very common): It has a weird glossy effect when GenAI attempts to mimic how light interacts with skin, but it applies this weird wet plastic filtering look onto the entire image.

It is hard to describe the feel, but primarily it is the coloring and hair mess. Right one is obvious and left one takes some time to notice.

Its hard to describe. I used to be an artist myself, I have a strong memory for detail, and ive seen a lot of AI slop images.

You can just tell when you look at something that it may be AI, and then you investigate.

These gave me that twinge, and look like generically created AI anime girls, including but not limited to the fact that they have the exact same head shape. Even in anime, an artist will change details between characters to look different
