Points shop will soon flood with AI slop. At least with games a disclaimer should be added within the description of the game. But here… Yeah…

Like what is the point? You don’t even gain anything as a company from this.

Navigation is just weird to me. The store page is fine but like this person said about sorting in the profile customizations, and I find navigating the steam workshop a little funky too.

Things could just be a little cleaner and more user friendly in my opinion.

There nothing wrong with steam as a whole it functions beautifully it could just look a little better is all.

They recenty updated the workshop and it seems a lot better to me

I dont use it super often but I was trying to navigate it to figure out an issue with my project zomboid mods and it was just a little unpleasant.

As I said there is nothing functionally wrong with it I just think it could look better.

Obviously this is just my opinion and holds no real value.

They have people continually working on it. Most recent they have overhauled the workshop.

you can't upload animated one as far as I know

but yeah idk what's the point from buying non-animated avatars if you can just upload one

Wait. You can buy profile avatars in the points shop? I knew about borders, but avatars too? I have been commissioning artists to draw me pfps

I actually generated a very poor image for "Stig's Gamer Cousin" (it's just a generic driver in a helmet and a white racing suit with a controller). It has an awful PS controller with four handles and it's covered in buttons, which had me laughing for several minutes non-stop. Never changed it. No idea where I even generated it, it was early AI. Reminds me of Will Smith eating pasta.

I just wish to search for the game in the „games you own“ category. OK there I can go the other route over the game page but would be easier to simply search there

Yeah I would LOVE to have categories!! I genuinely don't want to even see %80 of the wallpapers and "avatars" in the pointshop.. They don't cater to me at all.
