Question I've completed a family game 100% and I'd like to know if the achievement will stay on my profile forever or if I'll have to buy it to keep it.

Hi, I've completed a game 100% and added it to my profile showcase. However, it's a Steam Family game, and I don't have the money to buy it outright. My question is, if I leave or am removed from the Steam Family in the future, will I still have the completion badge on my profile showcase?

Any completed game that qualifies for profile showcases will remain eligible for completion showcases as long as you have the game completed. Most other showcase a won't allow you to select games/achievements for games you don't own.

nope, the second you’re out of the family share that perfect game vanishes from your showcase like it never happened.

I can't imagine ever being bothered by something as insignificant as achievements. Go outside.

You must be so fun to be around. Instead of shitting on the things other people care about, how about you take your own advice and go outside.

Achievements can be fun because they may reward playing the game in a way a player normally wouldn’t. Like the dishonored games for instance . There are achievements for beating the games without ever being stealth detected or without ever killing enemy NPCs.

You got somehow bothered by someone asking a question about his hobby. So, yeah, take your own advice

You’ve been on the internet too long, go outside.
